It looks like Kanye West is making some upgrades to his roster. Last night, Def Jam took to Twitter to announce the official signing of singer Kacy Hill to the G.O.O.D. Music label. The 20-year-old is from Phoenix, Arizona and was one of the backup dancers during Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour lats year. Yesterday afternoon, Nicki Minaj sat down at the Power 105.1 interview for a highly-anticipated conversation with Angie Martinez. During their chat, the two talked about Nicki’s recent breakup with Safaree “ScaffBeezy” Samuels.
“My relationship was based off of love. And there still is nothing but love there. This is not some person I picked up off the street. This issomebody I grew up with. Like I don’t even know how I’m gonna function without that person in my life. I’ve never lived my life as a famous person without him,” Nicki said.
Nicki went into tears as she continued the interview. “I don’t think people realize it’s not just a relationship or breakup. That was a humongous part of my life. It is something that I am dealing with publicly and it’s not easy. I’m also not gonna joke about it or try to disrespect him and try to act like he didn’t mean the world to me and still doesn’t mean the world to me. I’m just figuring it out.”

After having one of the best (if not the best) rap album of the year, YG was not nominated for the upcoming Grammy Awards. In a recent interview with Big Boy at the Power 106 studios, YG spoke on the Grammy snub and even called out some of the nominees in the process.
